About the artwork

“Arco” desk table by B.B.P.R. for Olivetti Synthesis, in metal with a bakelite top in imitation of wood. An iconic piece of office furniture that holds a prominent place in the history of design.

B.B.P.R. was the acronym that indicated the group of Italian architects established in 1932 by Gian Luigi Banfi (1910-1945), Lodovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso (1909 - 2004), Enrico Peressutti (1908 - 1976), Ernesto Nathan Rogers (1909 - 1969).

Condition: Used condition including scratches and stains on the top.
